About the event
Join the Broward County Section of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) on Saturday, November 7, 2026, as we partner with AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) for our NOURISH Broward initiative during AHF's Food Giveaway and Community Health Fair.
Through this initiative, we aim to address food insecurity by connecting families with nutritious food, practical nutrition education, and valuable community resources.
These workshops will focus on preparing affordable, healthy meals while honoring the diverse cultural foods and traditions of the families we serve.
Each workshop participant will receive our specially developed NOURISH Broward: From Our Table to Yours resource booklet, featuring healthy recipes, money-saving grocery tips, and information about local food assistance programs.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by helping families access not only food for today, but also knowledge and resources for tomorrow.
