Volunteer Opportunity: Patricia Davis Community Garden Beautification

Broward County Section, NCNW invites members and supporters to participate in a community beautification volunteer opportunity at the Patricia Davis Community Garden.

Volunteers will assist with:

• Weeding and garden maintenance

• Planting and tending to garden beds

• General beautification and clean-up efforts

  
  

The Patricia Davis Community Garden serves as an important community space that enhances quality of life by promoting neighborhood and community development, encouraging social connection and self-reliance, and beautifying the surrounding area. The garden also supports access to organic, nutritious foods, helps reduce family food costs, conserves resources, and creates opportunities for recreation, exercise, healthy eating, education, therapy, and community workshops.
